HOLLY GATE A CUT TOO FAR

Today I was shocked to see a Holly tree that may have been planted when the Civic center (Pittwood house) was first opened in 1963 to see a chain saw cut it down, last week it was a Christmas tree that was cut down outside the reception, has all the Christmas Spirit gone out of this Council, I would not mind but was told by an officer last week that they would be taking out the over grown bushes at the front of Pittwood and that the holly tree would not be touched. When I went to the Chief executive to look in to the matter I was told SORRY we made a mistake but will plant a new holly bush (MAYBE 50 YEARS OF GROWTH GONE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS)

tory leader NOT GETTING APPROVAL to enter the LABOUR GROUP OFFICES

I did what liz asked of me and spoke to the chief executive who agreed with me that I had said nothing wrong in my blog statement about liz inviting herself into the Labour group offices and it was a matter of social conscience!!!!! so liz if you are reading this NO I will not take it off.

Lizzy (leader of the torys) phones me today to request that I take of my blog that she had entered Labour group offices with out permission from the labour group, she admitted that she had been in the office but saw no wrong as she had not been in my office or the deputy leaders office, as I said to her today and on my blog that I would NEVER have entered their offices AT ALL with out their permission.
On a good note it was the 75th anniversary of Scunthorpe getting it’s charter and we invited members of the public to show them the Civic regalia and I am pleased with the take up from members of the public it was a pleasure showing them round

Is this a sign of things to come!!!!

I am so angry to find out that the tory leader has been caught going in and out of the labour group offices (is this a thing of the future sneaking about when we move down next to them) I have phoned and written to the Chief Exec and he agreed with me that it was totally wrong and that he would personaly write to her and I have asked for a written apology to the labour group for her actions, in all my years as leader I would NEVER have entered the oposition group offices without their permisson
